Return Policies

Laboratory Supply Network does not have its own return policy. Instead, we honor the respective return policies of our suppliers. The return policies for each manufacturer we represent are listed below in alphabetical order. In the event of a return, the customer will, at LSN’s discretion, and in addition to any restocking fees mandated by the supplier as indicated below, be charged for any difference in the costs paid by LSN for shipping the order to the customer and the shipping fees originally charged to the customer for the order.

Accuris Instruments
Within 30 days of purchase, Accuris Instruments will accept return of products that are in pristine, brand-new, re-sellable condition and in their original packaging, without any restocking fees. If an item is in new condition but is missing its original packaging a 15% restocking fee will be charged.

After 30 days and up to 90 days after purchase, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed on all returned items that are in pristine, re-sellable condition and in their original packaging. Returns without original packaging will not be accepted at this time.

If an item has been used or is permanently marked and/or damaged in any way, we will be unable to accept it as a return.

Unless a mistake has been made by our warehouse and an order was shipped in error, all shipping on returns is the customer’s responsibility. Additionally, if items are damaged in transit, no refund will be issued and all damage claims must be taken up with the freight carrier.

For all returns, including those for warranty repair/replacement, a return authorization number must be obtained before the item is returned.

Across International
Across International (AI) does not accept returns for customized items. AI in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective.

Starting from the date of delivery, you will have 10 calendar days to open and inspect all crates/boxes. Any missing pieces must be reported during this time period, otherwise AI will not be held responsible. If anything is missing, please call us at 888-988-0899.

You have 30 calendar days from the date your shipment was delivered to get a valid return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and return the goods to the possession of Across International. Returns without a valid RMA will not be accepted. If the item is returned during this timeframe, AI will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. For products verified to be defective, AI will supply a prepaid shipping label along with an RMA number (Except for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and countries outside of the US). Products returned for a refund or exchange must be returned unused and in the original condition they were received. This includes all accessories, manuals, manufacturer’s crate/boxes, packing materials, etc. Returns received that have been used or with missing components or modifications will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval. For non-defective products, a 15% restocking fee will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of the initial shipment and return shipment. For products verified to be defective, AI will be responsible for your return shipment and the shipment of replacement items.

You will be responsible to ensure adequate packaging on all return shipments. If the shipment is damaged in transit to AI, you will be responsible for the loss of any non-defective items.

American Biotech Supply
All returns are subject to the approval of American Biotech Supply on a case-by-case basis. Every return requires a formal return authorization letter. In instances when returns are accepted, the returned item(s) must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned within 60 days from the date the item(s) were shipped to the customer. Unless the return is due to product defect or error of American Biotech Supply, a restocking fee of up to 25% will apply.

Arctiko
All sales are final. No returns are accepted.

BEE International
All sales are final. No returns are accepted.

BEING Instruments
All returns must be approved and issued an RA # (Return Authorization Number) within 10 days after receiving your purchase. All returns must arrive back to BEING within 15 days after you are issued your RA number. Items received after this period will not be accepted. All returns must be shipped back to BEING in their original shipping materials. If needed, BEING will send the proper packing materials at the customer’s expense. All returns must be in “Like New” condition for credit. All returns must be complete in contents (original item along with manuals, accessories, etc.) for credit. BEING will arrange for pickup of a returned item, and all associated shipping fees for the return will be charged to the customer. A 15% restocking fee will be associated with all returns of non-defective items. BEING Instrument reserves the right to be the sole determiner of whether an item is defective.

In the case of out of box failure: Any purchase from BEING that is defective in workmanship and fails to operate to our listed specifications within 10 days after its receipt can be returned for a full refund. An “Out of Box Failure” must be confirmed by a BEING service technician or customer service representative before a return is authorized. BEING will issue a Return Authorization (RA # ) and arrange at no cost to the customer to have the unit picked up and returned. All returns must be in “Like New” condition for credit.

In the case of shipping damage: Any noticeable damage to packing/crating upon delivery should be refused or reported to carrier immediately. For cases of concealed damage, BEING will take responsibility for placing a “Freight Claim” under the following conditions: Product was shipped via a BEING specified common carrier, Damage was reported to the carrier and BEING within 7 days of receipt. A replacement order will then be shipped at no cost to the customer. If the customer specifies their own carrier, they assume full responsibility for any freight claims. This includes collect and 3rd party billing shipments. Under these circumstances, a replacement will be sent out at a charge.

Benchmark Scientific
Within 30 days of purchase, Benchmark Scientific will accept return of products that are in pristine, brand-new, re-sellable condition and in their original packaging, without any restocking fees. The exceptions to this are all products which ship freight, which will result in a 15% restocking fee, even during the first 30 days.

If an item is in new condition but is missing its original packaging a 15% restocking fee will be charged. The exceptions to this are all products which ship freight, return of which without original packaging is not accepted.

After 30 days and up to 90 days after purchase, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed on all returned items that are in pristine, re-sellable condition and in their original packaging. Returns without original packaging will not be accepted at this time. Returns of items which ship freight will not be accepted at this time.

Absolutely no returns will be accepted after a period of 90 days.

If an item has been used and is permanently marked and/or damaged in any way, we will be unable to accept it as a return.

Bertin Technologies
All returns are at the discretion of Bertin Technologies. Returns must be authorized by Bertin Technologies in advance. Bertin Technologies reserves the right to issue a restocking fee determined at the time.

BioLogics, Inc.
No instrument may be returned unless unused and/or 20 days after date of delivery, unless authorized in advance and agreed to by BioLogics and then only upon such conditions as BioLogics may agree to. When Purchaser elects to return an unused instrument within that 20-day period, Purchaser shall request a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Upon granting authorization to return the instrument, BioLogics shall assign a Return Material Authorization Number to Purchaser. Purchaser shall be responsible for the instrument returned (until such time as BioLogics receives the same at its office) and for all charges for packing, inspection, shipping, transportation, or insurance associated with returned instrument. In the event that credit for returned unused instrument is granted, at the sole discretion of BioLogics, a 30% restocking fee may apply, and it shall be at the price in effect as of the date of the original shipment of the instrument by BioLogics.

BioSpec
Returns are allowed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of BioSpec. All returns must be approved by BioSpec before the item(s) is returned. All returns must be in new or like new condition. Accepted returns are not subject to a restocking fee.

Branson Ultrasonics
All returns are at the discretion of Branson Ultrasonics and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Returns must receive authorization from Branson prior to any items being returned. Return authorizations are valid for a maximum of 30 days from their issuance. Returned equipment is subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee.

Dyhydromatics
All sales are final. No returns are accepted.

Eppendorf
Please note the following items are NOT RETURNABLE under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE:

  • Liquid Handling products. Including single- and multichannel- pipettes (manual and/or electronic) and bottle-top dispensers.
  • Consumables and Reagents. Includes pipette tips, centrifuge tubes, plates, Nucleocassettes, buffers, solutions/chemicals and Cell Culture dish ware.
  • 100-120 V / 50 Hz and 208-230 V/ 50 Hz Instruments. This includes centrifuges, cyclers, shakers, incubators and any other instrumentation.
  • Centrifuge Rotors and Buckets. Rotors and rotor buckets that have their original packaging seal broken are not returnable. Please ensure the information on the outside of the box is what you require before opening. Once the original packaging has been opened, we cannot accept rotors back.
  • Printed Circuit (PC) Boards and ALL Repair Parts including SOFTWARE. This includes any electronic or mechanical component, or sub component, memory, EEPROMs, motors, monitoring sensors and any internal instrument/product components. Software is also not returnable.
  • Probes and Sensors This includes, but is not exclusive to, pH Probes, DO sensors and any immersible sensor that can/could come in contact with samples/liquids.
  • Customized instruments and bar-coded products. Items including bar-coded plates, dishes and any consumables with unique coding and/or differentiation. Any custom configured instrument, product with unique labeling or customized packaging is also subject to this policy.

Equipment not listed above may not be returned without the prior written written authorization of Eppendorf North America. All returns are at the discretion of Eppendorf North America.

Glen Mills
All returns are at the discretion of Glen Mills. No returns are accepted without the prior approval of Glen Mills. In the event that a return is accepted, it may be subject to a restocking fee the amount of which will be determined by Glen Mills at the time the return is approved.

Haier Biomedical
All returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. Returns must receive authorization from Haier Biomedical to any items being returned.

Heidolph
All sales are final. No returns are accepted.

Hydrion Scientific
Any item may be returned within 14 days so long as it is in new condition and in the original packaging. A restocking fee equal to 10% – 30% of the purchase price will be applied and any shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.

The customer is responsible for any fees associated with returns, with the exception of when the reason for the return is an error on the part of Hydrion Scientific. In such circumstances, shipping costs will be refunded and return shipping costs will be paid by Hydrion Scientific.

IKA
Any return due to IKA error will receive credit in full. All other returns are subject to a minimum of 15% restocking charge within the return period. No deductions can be made without an official credit memo issued by IKA Works, Inc.

No return will be accepted without a return authorization number. No return will be accepted after 60 days of initial receipt by the customer.

All authorized returns must be sent back to IKA via UPS with the return shipping charges prepaid and with reference to our authorization number and invoice number.

On return merchandise from any foreign country, we will not be responsible for any brokerage fees that may be incurred regardless of the reason for return.

Interscience
All sales are final. No returns are accepted.

Jeio Tech
Items which are unused and in brand new condition may be returned within 15 days of the original shipment date. A 20% restocking fee will apply, and an additional $150.00 – $250.00 fee will apply for any returns which do not include the original packaging.

Any return sent back to Jeio Tech without a Return Authorization No. will result in the package being refused and sent back at the customer’s expense. All returns must be received in new condition. Once an RA# is issued, it must be returned back to Jeio Tech within 15 business days, failure to comply with this policy will result in the return not being accepted.

Julabo
All returns are solely at Julabo’s discretion. Any returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. In instances where a return is accepted, a 15% restocking fee will apply. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

LabStrong
No return will be accepted for any reason without prior written authorization from LabStrong Customer Service. Returns will be accepted only if accompanied by a LabStrong issued equipment decontamination certificate (secured to the outside of the shipping package) as regards to potential contamination with hazardous materials due to customer’s use of the product. If product is received without meeting these criteria the shipment will be returned at the shippers expense. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses associated with the return. In the event of a return, restocking charges of 25% or such greater amount as expended by LabStrong in connection with such returns may be applied.

LabTech
All returns must be authorized, IN ADVANCE, by LabTech and requested within 30 days of purchase. A Return Authorization form is required for all merchandise returns. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged for all returns not due to LabTech error. For returns not due to LabTech error, customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product. Packing should be carefully done. Original shipping cartons should be used whenever possible. All returns must be received undamaged and in new condition. Used glassware, needles, or other consumables are not returnable.

Life Science Refrigeration
All returns are solely at the discretion of Life Science Refrigeration. No goods may be returned without prior authorization from US Scientific. Authorization must be obtained within 30 days of the delivery of the items to the customer. Returned goods must have a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) for a credit to be issued. Equipment must be returned in new/unused condition in its original packaging. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged.

Marvel Scientific
For returns related to wrong product ordered, duplicate orders (which are not the fault of Aga Marvel), customer regret or other causes the customer is generally required to pay for the return freight, and a 15% restocking fee will apply. The product must be unused and in its original carton to be accepted for return. Before any return may be initiated, Marvel Scientific must agree in advance to the return and issue an RMA number. Improperly returned items will not be accepted. Returned product must reach Aga Marvel in an undamaged, re-stockable condition for any return credit to be issued. Aga Marvel is not responsible for damage which occurs in return shipping. The customer will be responsible for all freight charges.

Next Advance
Instrument(s) with a 30-day risk-free trial period may be returned provided the return is authorized by Next Advance within 30 days of delivery of the instrument(s) and provided that the instrument(s) has not been misused or otherwise returned in a poor, damaged, or defective condition because of misuse or negligence by the user. Instruments not covered under a 30-day trial, or equipment for which the 30-day trial has passed, will not be accepted for return. Items that are returned and found to have been damaged, misused, or otherwise devalued will be subject to an additional fee or may not be deemed refundable, as determined by Next Advance.

Accessories and other non-consumable, non-instrument purchases may be returned at the discretion of Next Advance, provided the return is authorized by Next Advance within 60 days of delivery of the items. Such returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Items that are returned and found to have been damaged, misused, or otherwise devalued will be subject to an additional fee or may not be deemed refundable, as determined by Next Advance.

Consumables may be returned provided the return is authorized by Next Advance within 30 days of delivery provided that they are unopened and in their original packaging. Consumables are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Consumables that are found to be opened, tampered with, adulterated, fully or partially used, or in any condition other than they were originally sent from Next Advance will not qualify for a refund.

Ohaus
No cancellations within 48 hours of acknowledged ship date. All returns must be approved by Ohaus and require issuance of a Return Order number from Ohaus. All sales of Ohaus items totaling under $350 are final (items from other manufacturers do not count as part of the total). Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

PolyScience
All returns are solely at PolyScience’s discretion. A return authorization must be obtained before an item is returned. Any returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. In instances where a return is accepted, a 20% restocking fee will apply. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

PRO Scientific
Customer shall be responsible for shipping charges on any returned or re-shipped merchandise. A 10% re-stocking charge may be applied to any unused items returned within 15 days from invoice date. A 20% re-stocking charge shall be applied and merchandise credit only will be issued for any unused items returned between 16 and 60 after invoice date. Additional charges (up to full list price) may be applied on any returned items that are damaged. Returns are not accepted after 60 days from invoice date.

Used equipment may not be returned for credit.

Quantity or item discrepancies must be reported to pro scientific within 10 days of invoice date to ensure proper invoice crediting.

Each order is carefully inspected before shipment. PRO Scientific is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipment. Please inspect package carefully upon receipt and immediately make note of any damage. Pro warrants products against manufacturing defects or items sent in error. A claim must be made to PRO Scientific to replace an item shipped in error within 10 days of invoice date. Check product operator’s manual for specific warranty information.

QSonica
All returns are solely at QSonica’s discretion. Any returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. In instances where a return is accepted, restocking fee will apply. This restocking fee is usually 20% to 25% although the amount of the restocking fee is solely at QSonica’s discretion. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Radwag
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchased product, you can return it to Radwag within 10 days from the date you received the item and we shall issue a full refund for the price you paid for this item (original delivery and return delivery costs payable by the customer). A returns number must be obtained prior to the return of the product.

Sartorius
All returns are subject to prior written authorization by Sartorius, in its sole discretion. Requests for return may require certain supporting documentation, depending on the product. Returned product must be identified clearly with the Return Authorization (RA) number. Unauthorized or unidentified returns will be rejected or destroyed, with no credit issued. Authorized returns shall be shipped at Seller’s risk and expense, freight prepaid, to such location as Sartorius may designate. In the event the Product is found to be conforming, shipping and return freight charges may be charged back to Buyer.

Subject to a 20% restocking fee (except for product shipped in error), Buyer may return any standard and currently-stocked product which Sartorius approves if: (i) it is in new condition, suitable for resale in its undamaged, unopened, unmarked original packaging and with all its original parts and (ii) it has not been used, installed, modified, rebuilt, reconditioned, repaired, altered or damaged. Non-standard and/or non-stocked products, equipment, or instruments (i.e. products made-to-order, built to customer’s specifications, partly or fully customized, modified, etc.) may not be returned unless due to manufacturer non-conformance(s).

kSep® Equipment and Disposables are non-refundable once shipped.

Scientific Industries
All online sales are final, except for “out-of-box” failures. If the purchaser received a product that is an “out-of-box” failure, then product may be returned for refund or replacement. All returns must be authorized by Scientific Industries via a Return Authorization in order to insure proper refund or replacement. Requests must be made within 10 days of purchase, by calling Customer Service at 888-850-6208. All other returns will incur a 20% restocking fee, excluding shipping charges.  Shipping charges are none refundable. Certification fees are non refundable when returning or exchanging. Products must be in completely resalable condition (including all packaging and related accessories). Refunds and replacements shall not be granted for merchandise that is not in original condition. Please refer to your warranty card received with your product to determine Scientific Industries’ warranty policy.

In order to return or exchange equipment, the following conditions must be satisfied (NO EXCEPTIONS):

  1. Before returning the product, contact Customer Service to obtain a pre-approval, an RMA number, and shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA number will be refused.
  2. The product must be packed in original packaging exactly as specified on the enclosed packing specifications sheet, or as instructed by a customer service representative.
  3. DO NOT ship the product via United States Postal Service. Always use a common carrier with a shipment tracking service and insure the merchandise. All shipping charges must be prepaid.
  4. The product must be in the same new condition as when sold, with literature and all instruction manuals. Customer is responsible for missing items, as well as all damages caused by improper use, mishandling, or shipping damages caused by inadequate packing.

SCILOGEX
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the date you received your order. All returns must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization “RMA” prior to the item being returned or the return may be rejected. Contact us to obtain an RMA.

We will refund 100% of your original purchase price as long as product is unused and returned (as dated by the return shipper) within 30 days from the date you received your order (as defined by the shipper’s original delivery date).

In order to qualify for a refund or return, all products must be returned in their entirety and in their original packaging. Shipping & handling charges can not be credited or refunded.

Seward
No order which has been accepted by the seller may be cancelled or returned by the buyer except with the written agreement of the seller and subject to the payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge equal to 25% of value of the goods ordered (excluding carriage and packaging) plus New York and/or local sales and/or use tax at the statutory rate(s) in effect at the shipping address.

Sheldon Manufacturing (Shel Lab & Lab Armor)
Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. reserves itself the right, with three-month notice, to modify conditions under which standard Sheldon branded products can be returned and refunded. If the product was purchased through a dealer or third-party representative, the product return must be arranged in conjunction with the seller: (1) the product must be unused; (2) a return material authorization number (RMA) has been issued by Sheldon Manufacturing Inc.’s customer service department within 30 days after the shipment; (3) Sheldon Manufacturing receives the returned product at the factory in Cornelius, Oregon within 60 days after issuance of the return material authorization number and (4) the product must be returned in Sheldon packaging. If the packaging has been damaged or discarded, Sheldon will forward new packaging at the customer’s expense. (5) All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer unless it is a case of pre-approved replacement, and (6) a credit will be issued when the product has arrived at Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. and has been inspected by Sheldon to be suitable to be returned to the stock. (7) Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. will charge a 25% restocking fee on all returned products that will be deducted from the return credit. In a case of restocking costs being higher than 25%, Sheldon Manufacturing will deduct the higher amount from the return credit.

Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. does not accept any returns of customized products. Products made by Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. that are sold under other brand names will be handled according to mutual agreements and legal requirements.

Freight damage must be reported to Sheldon Manufacturing within 5 days of product delivery. Visible damage must be documented on the delivery receipt and include both consignee signatures at the time of delivery to file a claim. Customer must provide the original (signed) delivery receipt with damage documentation noted and additional substantiating documents e.g. Photos, employee statements etc. If the above conditions are not met Sheldon Manufacturing may not be able to repair or replace your product.

So-Low
All returns are at the discretion of So-Low and must be authorized by So-Low before any item is returned. Return requests must be received within 30 days of receipt of the product. Any returned item must be in new condition, unused and undamaged, in order to qualify for a refund. A 25% restocking fee will apply. The customer will be responsible for return freight.

Torbal
Items approved for return must be received by Scientific Industries within fourteen (14) calendar days (postmark NOT considered) of delivery receipt. All refunds are subject to a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee of the total purchase value, excluding shipping charges. Shipping charges are not refundable. Certification fees are non refundable when returning or exchanging. If defective or damaged, all items may be exchanged within thirty (30) days of receipt for the same model only. If an upgrade to the purchase has been made, the 14 day return period is reduced by the number of days the first purchase has been in possession.

In order to return or exchange equipment, the following conditions must be satisfied (NO EXCEPTIONS):

Troemner
All returns are solely at Troemner’s discretion and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returns must be authorized by Troemner via a Return Authorization Number. Returns must be received within 30 days from the date the Troemner Return Authorization Number was issued.

All returns must include a completed and signed Troemner Exposure/Decontamination Statement. A decontamination fee of $175.00 will be charged if the equipment was used and has not been properly decontaminated prior to return. Troemner will not accept any item that has been exposed to biohazardous and/or radioactive materials.

All returns/warranty repairs are to be shipped to Troemner and the transportation charges prepaid. Troemner is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping.

Velp Scientifica
All returns are solely at the discretion of Velp Scientific, Inc. and must be approved and be issued a return authorization by Velp prior to any item being returned. A 20% restocking fee will be applied if returns are accepted. Velp may waive this restocking fee if Velp is notified within two days of delivery and the item has not been used and is returned in new condition and in its original packaging. Velp reserves the right to alter the restocking fee at their discretion based on the situation.
